Pardon Our "Weeding"

Pardon Our "Weeding"

Published: Wednesday, July 17, 2024

If you’ve visited recently you’ve seen boxes everywhere. As part of our commitment to providing the best possible environment for study, teamwork, and research collaboration, Bird Faculty Librarians are coordinating a thoughtful and strategic weeding/deaccession process. This is a part of our internal work supporting the university's strategic plan to advance research, support students preparing for careers in the healthcare and biomedical sciences workforce, and promote a sense of belonging in health sciences community spaces that welcome both quiet and group study, innovation, and discovery!

Throughout this process, we will do our best to limit disruptions. We are excited about the future of our library and the positive impact these changes will have for our community. Thank you for your enthusiasm for the resources, services, and support you receive via the Bird Library as we work together to create an even more enriching and supportive environment that advances scholarship and learning for everyone.
