Phill Jo, Associate Professor and Head of Access Services at the Bird Library, is the new President-Elect of the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association. She will begin her presidential year in Fall 2023.

SCC/MLA is a professional organization of individuals and institutions in the field of health sciences librarianship. Membership is open to anyone interested in health sciences librarianship, and most members reside or work in the south central states of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
