Become a Better Researcher

Effective bibliographic management is becoming an increasingly important skill for researchers and students. Growing expectations to publish and write papers requires efficient management of references.

Bibliographic management programs such as Endnote, Reference Manager, and RefWorks are just some of the bibliographic tools that make this process easier. Some of the advantages to using these tools include the ability to:

  • Build and maintain personalized, searchable databases of bibliographic references and accompanying data.
  • Format references within papers and for bibliographies automatically.
  • Import references from a variety of data sources.

The Robert M. Bird Library provides faculty and students with one free licence to any of these programs as part of its enduring effort to increase scholarly research.

To obtain a copy or to learn more about this software come by the Bird Library between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or call 405-271-2285 opt.2 to request more information.
